You are viewing a beautiful Heinrich porcelain cup and saucer that I have posted in my Ebay Store designed specifically for a steaming cup of Rüdesheimer Kaffee, a German version of Irish Coffee.
The design is in pink with a ring of flowers pattern, and scenes from the Rhine on both the cup and saucer.
There are four panel scenes running around the cup, three are of historical buildings and the forth has the statement: “Rüdesheim am Rheim anno 1860 die Vaterstadt des Asbach Uralt”
This translates: “Rüdesheim on the Rhein year 1860 Father City of Ancient Asbach”.
Your cup and saucer set looks in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage.
The saucer is approximately 6-1/4″ across.
The cup is 4-1/2″ tall, 3-3/4″ across the rim
